About

A love of stitching has been inherited from my mother and grandmother.  I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have at least a couple of stitching projects underway.  Whether it’s by hand or machine, there are always new projects I’d like to try or fibres I’d like to experiment with…and a few projects waiting to be finished!

  1. Found you on Pinterest! I went to WordPress, read your latest writing, and I enjoyed you talking about finishing your sweet potato and curry soup without an electric blender. I always do things by hand, and we enjoy sweet potato and curry in various forms all year. We are digging up and storing our abundant sweet potato crop right now.
Just a question: Do you sell your quilts or your patterns? I love the Country Plaid quilt. I have been trying to make something plaid for my bed, but when I saw yours I fell in love with it and see that I will not be able to make anything near as beautiful.
    Sincerely,
    Patricia Cole

Thanks, Patricia! You are lucky to have a crop of your own sweet potatoes!
I do sell some of my quilts – I have an ETSY store – FabriArts. There’s a link to it under the “My Website” tab on the right. The Country Plaids quilt did sell at a craft show last year. You can contact me through my FabriArts Website (also a link to the right) if you’d like to discuss a custom order.

My daughter sent me a picture of your country plaids. Please let me know if the pattern is for sale.
    Thanks,

    Hi Lynda,
The pattern was found in the January/February issue of “Quilt-it…Today” magazine. Here’s a link to the magazine’s website:
